About the Author

Holly Glazier

Holly Glazier was hired by Cooley in 2001 to create and teach several successful bar exam related courses to improve bar passage rates. During her tenure at Cooley as the head of the bar exam preparation department, Cooley's bar results went from a 49% to consistently being 80% or higher first time Michigan bar passage rate for four years in a row. For those students who completed all of her bar related classes, the cumulative pass rate is 100%. Professor Glazier has also successfully written or assisted with more than 125 bar exam appeals over the last decade. As a result, she knows exactly what the graders are looking for and how to get the most points from your bar exam essays.

Professor Glazier received her A.A.S., summa cum laude, from Paul Smith's College; her B.A., summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Utica; and her J.D, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She has received many teaching and professional commendations and is known nationally for her bar exam expertise, particularly regarding the Michigan Bar Exam. Hundreds of successful Michigan bar exam takers who used materials included in Michigan Bar Exam Essay Deconstruction as a tool to prepare credit them as the key to their success on the Michigan portion of the bar exam.
